Pineapple Landscaping LLC began in 2014 as a small venture started by 13-year-old Alex in Westbrook, MD. With a push mower and a strong work ethic, he went door to door offering lawn care services under the original name “Git R Done.”

As the business grew, Alex reinvested in better equipment and expanded his reach. His father, Finn Neilsen, soon joined him, helping with lawn care and transporting tools—quickly becoming an essential part of the operation.

With increasing demand, Alex moved operations from the family garage to a dedicated storage space, upgraded from the family car to a box truck, and officially rebranded the company as Pineapple Landscaping LLC.

As the company continued to grow, a weekend crew was added, followed by the first full-time employees. What began as a one-person effort evolved into a full-scale family business with a loyal team, a fleet of vehicles, and top-of-the-line equipment.

Pineapple Landscaping has been proudly serving the community for over 10 years. Alex and Finn remain passionate about their work and dedicated to their clients. They’ve built a company that values quality service, community relationships, and a team that feels like family.

We are now in 2025 with over 24 crews and 70 employees and operate with 2 landscape yards to handle all needs outside, Pineapple is a one stop shop.
